Home was one of Barbara's early mixed media pieces, and it announced something important about where her work was headed. Built from layers of collage, paint, and paper, it has the depth and texture of something you want to lean in close to examine — and the warmth of something you want to hang somewhere you'll see it every day. It went on to win Best of Show at the Euclid Arts Association Show in Euclid, Ohio, and it has been turning heads ever since.
